Very Rare and Charming Porcelain Limoges Grand Piano Music Box
Splendid piano shaped music box plays “The Blue Danube” when its lid is lifted. With original labels “Modele Déposé Edyr”, “Décor Main Paris”. Made of porcelain, hand painted in maroon and white with fine flowers finished in gold and signed by the artist. It has a delicate hand painted cover to protect the mechanism. Movement by Reuge Switzerland. Stands about 6.5cm high x about 10cm wide x 13cm in length It opens to reveal the painted cover and a small compartment.
