Original Chinese cork carving art form. Cork pictures start with painting blue usually on card for background, the cork is then collected and all the items are cut with a knife
to the fine detailed buildings and trees, then glued to make the picture, many hours are needed to produce this Chinese fine art.
This is an old piece, some of the delicate carvings have become unglued or broken with age, they are still in the frame and can be easily removed or glued back on.
