Lot 149:
Original Signed Painting in Acrylic on Canvas by Mozambican Artist H. Simbine
Description
Simbine’s acrylic masterpiece on stretched canvas explores the intersection of geometry and the human form. The canvas is a kaleidoscope of colours, with meticulously arranged geometric shapes that seamlessly merge to create nude human forms.
The nude figures are rendered with a balance of simplicity and complexity, their contours defined by bold, angular lines. Simbine employs warm tones to highlight the flesh.
Through this geometric exploration, Simbine invites viewers to contemplate the relationship between order and chaos, celebrating the inherent beauty found in the intersection of mathematical precision and the imperfect grace of the human body.
