Lot 162:
REDUCED - Samburu Warrior's Spear With Stand.
Description
A striking symbol of Samburu heritage and valor, this spear is a testament to the rich traditions of the Kenyan tribe. Crafted with precision and artistry.
With this extraordinary throwing spear, warriors routinely dispatch marauding leopards, lions and even firearm toting bandits at unheard of distances. Hand crafted with a spear head above a twisted iron, wooden patterned staff and a counterbalancing metal butt spike.
Resting in display stand, the spear is elevated from its utilitarian origins to a work of decorative art.
Condition report:
Presentable, in a reasonably good second hand condition
