Silver Plated Passover Plater
Description
A traditional Seder plate designed for the Jewish festival of Passover. It features six embossed Hebrew words, each positioned within its own decorative circle. These words correspond to the symbolic food items placed on the plate during the Seder:
Zeroa (shank bone) – Symbolizing the Paschal lamb offering.
Beitzah (egg) – Representing mourning and the festival sacrifice.
Maror (bitter herbs) – Reflecting the bitterness of slavery.
Charoset (sweet mixture) – Reminding of the mortar used by Hebrew slaves in Egypt.
Karpas (vegetable) – Representing hope and renewal, typically parsley or celery.
Chazeret (additional bitter herb) – Often romaine lettuce, symbolizing bitterness.
This plate serves as the centerpiece of the Seder table, combining tradition with artistry.
In good condition with minor wear due to age and usage, please see images as they form part of the description.
