Dixon Percussion Cowbell
Description
A medium-sized percussion instrument commonly used in various music genres, including Latin, rock, and jazz. This cowbell is constructed from metal, typically steel, which produces a bright, sharp, and resonant sound when struck with a drumstick or mallet.
The cowbell’s size and dimensions contribute to its distinctive tonal characteristics — the larger size (23 cm height) and relatively wide opening create a deeper, more pronounced sound with a moderate sustain. It features a mounting clamp or bracket, allowing it to be attached to drum kits or percussion stands for easy use during performances.
Dixon is a well-known manufacturer of percussion instruments, and their cowbells are favored for their durability and high-quality sound, making this cowbell a versatile addition to both professional and amateur percussion setups.
