Description
An outstanding Royal Albert collection that will generate immediate and passionate excitement among serious collectors of this iconic English fine china brand. The Old Country Roses pieces alone make this a headline lot, comprising both a large and a small teapot, a creamer, a lidded sugar bowl and a biscuit plate from what is widely regarded as the most recognisable and collected fine china pattern in the world. The addition of a Royal Albert Colleen pattern soup or vegetable bowl broadens the collector appeal further, as the Colleen pattern has its own dedicated following among Royal Albert enthusiasts. The crown jewel of this collection is the Queen Mother’s Favourite Flowers plate featuring the Elizabeth of Glamis rose, a prestigious and sought after collector’s plate series with obvious Royal memorabilia and floral china appeal. A truly exceptional multi-piece Royal Albert lot that will attract serious and competitive bidding from collectors who know exactly what this represents. Sold as-is, fragile fine china, viewing strongly recommended.
