Lot 7:
Vibrant Hand-Painted Large Earthenware Fish Bowl | Ceramic Artist Sharon Thompson | Original South African Ceramic Art | Good Condition
Description
A strikingly vibrant and large hand-painted earthenware fish bowl in good condition, created by South African ceramic artist Sharon Thompson, a genuinely original piece of studio ceramic art that makes an immediate and joyful decorative statement. Hand-painted studio ceramics by named South African artists are actively collected and appreciated in the local art and craft market, and a large earthenware fish bowl of this visual energy and scale is an outstanding decorative centrepiece that would work beautifully as a planter, decorative display vessel or standalone art object in any living space. The hand-painted detail and artist signature make this a far more significant piece than a mass-produced decorative item, offering the winning bidder a genuine original work by a named South African ceramic artist. Sold as-is, good condition, viewing strongly recommended.
