Two Porcelain Decorative Items Comprising a Bird Group and a Floral Posy Basket
Description
Two decorative porcelain items. The first is a figural group depicting a parent bird with outstretched wings perched on a branch beside a nest containing two fledglings with open beaks. The figures are finished in a pale blue-grey glaze with dark accents to the eyes and beaks, set upon a textured brown nest and an integral white hexagonal tiered base. The second item is a floral posy basket featuring hand-modelled blossoms including blue anemone-type flowers, a pink rose, and red carnation-style blooms amongst green foliage. The flowers are arranged within a white lobed bowl with a textured exterior, standing on three C-scroll feet. No maker’s marks or labels are visible on the exterior of either piece.
