Mega Mill MM-1500SD CNC Vertical Machining Center - STC
Description
A Mega Mill MM-1500SD vertical machining centre (VMC), manufactured in Taiwan in January 2007. The unit features a large T-slotted work table currently fitted with a manual machine vice and a three-jaw chuck, a 20-station carousel-type automatic tool changer (ATC), and a BT40 taper spindle equipped with flexible coolant hoses. The control system has been retrofitted by G54 Machine Tools, utilising a LinuxCNC interface (AXIS 2.9.1) displayed on an AOC monitor with a standard keyboard. Auxiliary equipment includes a pneumatic control box with Parker components, a Bijur-style automatic lubrication system, and a coolant pump assembly. An adhesive label on the front panel reads THIS MACHINE IS EQUIPPED WITH GUHRING TOOLS. A black and silver identification plate on the rear frame reads DATE: 2007 01, MFG.NO: 2007010-15, MODEL: S-1500D, MADE IN TAIWAN.
