Description
A richly varied and genuinely characterful collection of vintage copper and brass pieces that will delight collectors of antique metalware and lovers of traditional country and farmhouse home accessories. The standout pieces are the vintage brass hunting horn and the antique copper post horn, both historically significant and actively collected decorative items with a dedicated following among collectors of antique musical instruments, hunting memorabilia and period decorative arts. The antique bed warmer is a particularly charming and collectible piece of domestic history, while the two brass skimmer or straining ladles, two copper or brass pots and a thermometer round out this substantial and varied collection with further practical and decorative appeal. Copper and brass collections of this depth and variety are consistently popular and eagerly contested lots at household auctions. Sold as-is, viewing strongly recommended.
