Stunning Vintage Victorian Style Electrified Oil Lamp | Light Green Glass Base | Etched Frosted Glass Shade | Flute Glass Required | Not Working | Restoration Project
Description
A truly stunning vintage Victorian style electrified oil lamp featuring a beautiful and distinctive light green glass base and an exquisitely etched frosted glass shade, a breathtakingly elegant decorative lighting piece that simply stops you in your tracks. Currently not working and requiring a new flute glass to complete the restoration, this lamp represents a wonderful and potentially outstanding acquisition for the buyer willing to invest in a small amount of restoration. Victorian electrified oil lamps with coloured glass bases and etched frosted shades are among the most beautiful and passionately sought after vintage decorative lighting pieces in the collector market, and in full working order a piece of this quality and visual impact commands serious attention and value. The light green glass base is a particularly desirable and less common colour variant that elevates this lamp above more ordinary examples. A genuinely remarkable piece at an honest restoration project price. Sold as-is, not working, flute glass required, electricals to be verified prior to use, viewing strongly recommended.
