Lot 48:
Large Black & White Elephant Herd Photographic Print | Signed by Unidentified Artist | Possibly Notable Photographer | Frame Requires Attention | Glass Intact
Description
A striking and dramatic large black and white photographic print depicting a small herd of elephants, bearing a signature believed to be that of a well-known photographic artist that has not been positively identified, making this a genuinely intriguing lot with potential significant value for the buyer who takes the time to research and authenticate the signature. Black and white wildlife photography of this scale and subject matter is a perennially popular and broadly appealing wall art category, and elephant prints in particular are among the most universally loved and collected African wildlife photographic subjects. The frame requires some attention but the glass remains intact and good, meaning the print itself is well protected. A potential hidden gem for the attentive and knowledgeable buyer. Sold as-is, signature unidentified, frame attention required, viewing strongly recommended.
