Lot 58:
Ornate Rococo Revival Style Cast Metal Wall Mirror
Description
A wall-mounted mirror featuring an asymmetrical Rococo Revival frame. The frame is constructed from cast metal with a dark, aged bronze-toned patina, decorated with characteristic C-scrolls, acanthus leaf motifs, and stylized shell cresting. The irregular, curvilinear mirror plate follows the internal contour of the frame and appears to have a bevelled edge. The reverse of the frame and any manufacturer markings are not visible.
